Description

This is Black and white all life fades away on this earth. Life is a cycle from birth to death and beyond. The bouquet that sits adorning our table soon is rotten and forgotten except in our memories. What are we leaving behind to create memories? Are what we are giving out to the world good or bad or do they have lots of gray areas? We will only have today, this moment once so can we make our moments count? Beauty fades but it leaves good Memories. Ugliness, aggression, killing, hurting others is a horrible blemish on our world and on those who perpetrate evil in any form. I am thinking of Ukraine and other terrorism and hateful acts in our world. Not having respect for life in all forms hurts us all!.. The planet and each being that lives and will live here. What will our lives leave behind... good memories and blessings, I hope. Examine what are you leaving at the end of each day?
and if you believe as I do that life goes on from this small world we live in what are you sending ahead? Hopefully, blessings for others to remember and follow.
This was originally painted in color with acrylics on paper with some watercolor. I turned this into a black and white painting in Photoshop and added the brush strokes and streaks of the two faces on the bottom right representing evil and goodness. I never work in Black and white but in changing it I feel it becomes a more powerful painting!
