Description
Bonnie Marie.Sky ponies in heat of summer in the heat of the desert nights! I was playing with my original piece with the horses and with the use of digital painting I changed Indian Sky ponies to this version which I enjoy more. Las Vegas summers are sizzling hot even at night all night long it can stay way above 100 degrees! Yes, we must have great air conditioning during June, July, and August, often even into September. May has been extremely hot already so we are going to have a really long hot summer!!! The thoughts about how hot it will be this summer-inspired both paintings.
This is a mixed media piece of Arteza Paint pens with brush tips, Acrylic, and of course pencils to sketch it out first.
I also tweaked a bit in Photoshop lightening the desert color palette so the horses stand out a bit!
