Description
This is my final hopefully, of this painting. It is the largest framed painting I have done an is 48x60. I keep seeing more I want to add to it! I named it differently because the eagles and wildlife in that area are protected from hunters. There is an invisible fence in the painting that has been there from the beginning. The point in that has always been to signify the protection of the land and wildlife. Ir also reminds me how God protects his children. Even in the middle of peril, He is watching over us. How many eagles can you find? I find myself liking this version best. I wish you could see it in the large version it is painted in. Much more dramatic in the large canvas where the light can play off of the different layers of paint and colorations. Have you ever stayed up at Zion overnight in a tent? I have. You wake up to deer everywhere, and if it has rained there will be a mist hanging over the valley that lifts as the day progresses! It is a glorious sight, even more so if you hike up to the emerald ponds early in the morning. When you can look down on a valley as the mist is rising over the mountains it is so calming and praiseworthy, cleansing the mind and the soul as well as the earth.
The foundation for this painting was set in with pallet knives thickly creating grooves and textures and a fence-like area that I wanted to be noticeable as texture but painted the colors of the area. When the entire painting is visible you notice the textures as an afterthought which is what I wanted to convey.
Of course, anything you buy will not have the watermark... it is just there to protect my work.
