The feel of a Reggae group, Paisley style, Hippie feel... looks best on metal because the colors are so brilliant! I saw a group by the ocean at sunset with some friends and that night in Coronado, California inspired this work. It is acrylic on canvas and I wanted it to to be something where you could feel the heat of the music and you could feel the beat I love steel drums and I wanted it to really convey the beat kind of a hippie feel about it or an island feel you see the the notes you see the butterfly you see kind of what it really is we are the legend of the mermaid came from down towards the bottom of the drum if you look hard. To me it has such movement in energy. I have free produce this personally and I love it on metal it even is more dramatic on metal than the original.
