The concept for this piece is that though temples created by men may be beautiful they do not last nor does God live there. His throne is the heavens, His glory is shown in His Creations, His angels and his spirit ministers to men wherever they are. Meet Him in the mountains, in the back streets, in the valley of life as well as in the Cathedrals for His presence is everywhere. The scriptures say that if we do not worship him the rocks and trees cry out in worship for their Gracious Creator. This piece has many layers and the famous Saint Marks Cathedral in New York City was my photographic base and inspiration I used after visiting there. All the rest is my imagination and enhancements.
