Description

The concept for this piece is that though temples created by men may be beautiful they do not last nor does God live there. His throne is the heavens, His glory is shown in His Creations, His angels and his spirit ministers to men wherever they are. Meet Him in the mountains, in the back streets, in the valley of life as well as in the Cathedrals for His presence is everywhere. The scriptures say that if we do not worship him the rocks and trees cry out in worship for their Gracious Creator. This piece has many layers and the famous Saint Marks Cathedral in New York City was my photographic base and inspiration I used after visiting there. All the rest is my imagination and enhancements. From cathedrals of the timeless -- where worries cannot accost --

His gift of love once taken to your soul can nee'r be lost.

His love can lift and keep you singing, can lead you on through joy and loss.

In all that is, was, and is yet to be... the journey is part of the destination...

And will always be... the truest source of wonder...

If we will but perceive and see.
