Christ appearing in the Clouds. Transfiguration. As you see Him ascending into the Heavens so shall he appear on the day of his returning. This may be a little Surrealistic for some tastes but it is how I imagine it.
This was done with lots of sketching, acrylics and then work in digital painting to get the ethereal feeling and transparency I was striving for.
