Lonely Rainy Night finished on 8/7/2022 I wanted to convey a feeling of loneliness and I hope it does. Someone walking to or away from something late at night in the rain. Are they going to work at a night shift, are they walking to get away, who is watching from the window.? So many questions to answer in your own mind. I hope you enjoy this and make your own conclusions. My inspiration was how we all feel so alone or the need to be alone at times in our lives, There are times we all just need to take a walk literally or figuratively, and ponder our own reality and the world we live in no matter the amount of friendly warm windows open to us but the truth is there is always someone waiting for us looking through the window of time to welcome us if we will but be aware.
I used pastels to set in then sprayed it, and added acrylics and iridescent paints for the umbrella top, the wet ground, and some for the lights in the windows. Each window is a bit different and the top windo...
