Bonnie Marie., In HIM is no darkness! God shows his eyes watching and his love of creating even in the lowly butterfly that starts out as a worm ends up in a chrysalis waiting to be transformed into a glorious butterfly. This is an analogy of what God does for us. We are born as lowly humans who die... but if we trust in Him he through the crypt of seeming death awakens us to eternal life in Him and we are transformed into glorious creatures that will live forever. Almost every butterfly has eyes on its wings and on many it is a set of 7 on either side (the holy number of God.) God's eyes watching are all over the feathers of the glorious peacock and on many fish in the sea! These and all His creation honor him with their beauty and touch of the Creator! An artist is at best a poor mimic attempting to capture in a painting or their creation a touch of the Master Creator's beauty
