Description

I painted this because of something I saw in a movie on TV. Just wanted to capture close to those colors and over the water. Funny thing is before I really decided to paint it I was coming out of Costco here in the desert in Henderson, NV and the shy sky was just this color and the buildings were purples and blues! That did it I started painting it that night! Oh, by the way, the original is so much nicer because I have been experimenting with glitter acrylic and a chrome glass-like powder I add in highlight areas just before the paint dries completely. I had to really work to get rid of the effect to show in this rendition because it photographs as smudges! The original captivates all who see it because it changes in every light!
