BonnieMarie.for the love of Hydrangeas in the Azores. I spent 2 weeks+ in the Azores Islands of Terceira and Sao Miguel. These amazing islands are all volcanic and were not discovered until the 12th century. These amazing flowers grow wild here everywhere on the islands all 9 of them! They are every color you can imagine and sometimes are all mixed into one plant.1 The kind of minerals found in the soil determines the colors with all minerals all colors are possible or close to it. This is their flower and beloved by all it appears on almost everything! I had so much fun giving them this stained glass looking feal. They have become one of my favorite flowers and are used in wedding bouquets around the world.. Vist these Islands when you get a chance you will find some of the best scenery anywhere, amazing extinct volcanoes, unbelievably beautiful coastlines, many dolphins and whales, warm to hot mineral waters coming from the still-hot lava running far beneath the earth to warm...
Please note that all forms of art ordered will NOT have the Watermark! I am a modern impressionist with figurative abstraction thrown in. If I were to create a phrase for my work it would be, "Late 20th and Early 21st Century Mixed Media Impressionistic painter and poet telling stories with art."
