Description
This one was just for fun... out of my comfort zone! Painting with thick wet paint is not something I am used to doing but this was indeed a learning experience with a lot of stylization. Not bad but not my usual way of painting. My 16 year old grandson really liked it though! The thought behind it was crazy wild sunsets in out of the way places and I wanted the heron to be very stylized also. I used again a kind of pulverized glass and acrylic glittering paint but it does not show up properly in the photo for printing. I’ve learned that using iridescent paints is great for the original but doesn’t show up really in the prints.

Bonnie,it's wonderful that you are having fun trying new things. It's true that some prints and such don't show the beauty of the real thing. This is especially true for metallic colors. Even so, it's a very nice piece of work. L/F
